1. Introduction
Welcome to Monday Tennis (the "App," "we," "us," or "our"). Monday Tennis is operated by Wave Tech LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand how your data is handled.
This policy explains the data used to provide the App. Optional analytics requires a separate choice; using the App does not enable it. The cloud-hosted services, coaching, training and consent controls described here apply to version 2.2 as it becomes available. Feature availability and backend services may differ in earlier versions.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Email address for authentication and account identification.
- Profile Information: Name or display name you choose to use within the App.
- Group Information: Names and descriptions of tennis groups you create.
- Player Information: Names of players added to groups (which may include yourself and others).
- Match Data: Tennis match scores, set results, tournament structures, and related game statistics you record.
2.2 Attendance, Coaching and Training
- Attendance: A group connector can supply player names, participation choices and session dates from a source such as a shared spreadsheet. We use this information to recommend matchups.
- Ask Monday: We save your questions and responses in your conversation history. An AI processing provider may process your question and limited match evidence to help interpret your request.
- Training: When you save an activity, we store the routine, completion, active duration and timestamp.
- Video Coach: You choose a video for analysis on your device. This feature does not upload the original clip. When you save a review, derived movement measurements and review metadata are stored with your account. These measurements are not used to identify you.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used and actions taken.
- Log Data: Error logs and crash reports to help us improve app stability.
Optional analytics and marketing measurement
Optional analytics is off by default. It starts only when you enable Optional analytics in Settings → Analytics & privacy and grant the system tracking permission. With both permissions, our analytics provider receives device identifiers, IP address, device and app details, install and session information, advertising attribution data and app interaction event names to measure marketing and app usage. We do not send your name, email, player ID, messages, videos, scores or fitness data to our analytics provider.
You can withdraw consent in the app or revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings. This stops future optional analytics collection without limiting app features. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already collected; contact us to request deletion. Your device’s operating system may separately provide privacy-preserving, aggregated advertising attribution reports.
2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Monday Tennis App
- Create and manage your account
- Enable you to create and manage tennis groups and tournaments
- Record and calculate match scores and leaderboard rankings
- Generate statistics and player performance data
- Send you important updates about the App (with your consent)
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information for money. Optional sharing with our analytics provider for analytics and marketing measurement is described above and requires your consent.
4.1 Within the App
Match scores, leaderboard rankings, tournament results, and player statistics are visible to other members of your tennis groups. Group administrators manage group membership. Your private training activities, video reviews and coaching conversations are not shared with the group.
4.2 Service Providers
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App:
- Cloud infrastructure providers: API hosting, database storage, email-code authentication, transactional email and AI-assisted request interpretation.
- Analytics and attribution providers: Optional product analytics and marketing attribution, subject to your consent and the system tracking permission.
- App distribution providers: Delivery and updates of the App
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Earlier app versions may continue to use our previous database and authentication providers during the transition to our current infrastructure. Legacy data and restricted migration backups are retained for reconciliation and recovery during this transition.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
- Secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard protections
- Email-based authentication (no passwords stored)
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Match history, tournaments, and statistics are retained to maintain accurate leaderboards and historical records for your tennis groups.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from Settings in the App (see Section 7). Account deletion removes your identity, profile, memberships and private coaching, training and video-review records. Shared match and tournament history remains under “Deleted Player” so other players keep their results. Restricted backup copies may remain until their retention period expires.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable.

8. Children's Privacy
Monday Tennis is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

- Right to request deletion of your personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
